Seattle Pride 2008 Seriously Proud AND Funny! Michelle Obama says she has never been as proud of her country as she has this year. I have never been as proud of my tribe. Seattle's gay, lesbian and trans community celebrates in a big way, June 29, and I will play a major role. On Sunday morning, I march with the Ingersoll contingent down Fourth Avenue, and at 3pm Sunday afternoon, I will step on the Pride Festival's main stage to entertain hundreds of thousands of fabulous folks in heels, satin and feather boas. Who knows what the women will be wearing... This will be my third year entertaining at Pride, my first as a feature act. Expect some political stuff, is there anything more important in the country this year? I'll also be delivering some observations from my recent trips to Germany, Palm Springs, and, yes, Stanwood (or Lesbos by the Sea). Joining me at PrideFest will be fellow comic Matt Bragg, and musical guests Kristine W, Seeing Blind, Lisa Marshall and Sue Quigley. Hosting the afternoon will be Lily Armani and Glazmonia. For more details check out the Seattle Pride Web site, Seattle Gay News or the Stranger. It's going to be quite the day, capped by an evening of fun and music at the Stranger's post Pride festival at the Mainstage Comedy and Music Club that evening. Join us for an evening you won't soon forget.
Barbara is just an ordinary woman who puts her bra on, one leg at a time.
